The photographed reality (2010)

Photography, real photography, is “loyalty” to Reality (with capital R). From this statement, this series was born.
Do interventions, manipulation, retouching, experimentations and modifications fail “true photography”?
Every time we look at the world through photography, everything we look at through the camera, before being fixed on a film, passes through our eyes, mind and above all, heart.
We choose what and how to shoot and that decision is influenced by our experiences, our cultures, backgrounds and different sensibilities. Is it possible to define photography as an interpretation of reality? How did I obtained these photos? A game of lights? Computer graphics? Or is it something that it’s truly real?
However, is it so important?
It’s just a point of view.
